Amagi going Live from December 15th in Hyderabad

We at Amagi (www.amagi.com) provide an innovative way of advertising on national TV channels on a significantly cost-effective basis. We have tied up with top English and Hindi national news channels to provide Hyderabad-only advertising through our local ad-insertion technology.

So, the viewers watching these channels in Hyderabad will see local advertisements. Please note that this is regular TV commercial advertising (10 sec, 20 sec, 30 second ad spots) and not a banner/ticker.

Local advertisers can now advertise on these national channels targeting only Hyderabad paying a much lower rate per spot on these channels.

This provides following major advantages:
- Access to higher income (SEC A & A+) households that the national news channels provide
- Stronger Brand image through association with national channels
- Campaign all through the month at a significantly lower cost compared to newspapers – you can get a few hundred spots a month across these premium channels for the cost of a single quarter-page advertisement in the local edition!!!

And, this could be at a rate significantly lower than national rates for these premium channels.

We can provide complete solution including TV creatives (ads) as required...

If you (or your friends in hyderabad) know the management in any of the following businesses in hyderabad, that are looking to advertise locally, could you let them know about us.

For example the local businesses could be any of the following
Real estate
Media – print, radio etc.
Retail – jewelry, textiles, malls, cinemas, interiors, furniture, home ware etc.
Hospitals
Colleges, schools, other educational institutions
Tutorial colleges
Hotels
Restaurants
Resorts
Spas/theme parks
Auto dealers – 2 wheeler, 4-wheelers
Event management / concerts
Companies who are recruiting
Election campaign management

hi,
Congratulations, but wondering since you are from Bangy, why not start here first.

How are you doing the localized targeting? Is it through the set top boxes? Just curious to know if you've tied up with them too. And, what percentage of viewers would see the ad in other cities because they don't have a set top box?

God, if you've found a way of working around India's set top box challenge, your website is worth a lot. :)

nope this is not thru settop boxes :-) everyone in that city will see the local ad...

Thats new. :) I'd love to hear more about your services and technology... when are you guys planning to have your website ready? You can auto-subscribe me. :)

so you work with google in online advertising. you guys planning to advertise on TV in India ?

Nah dude... I'm not interested in anything of that sort. I do work in Google but I am more of a blogging enthusiast than anything else. What intrigued me the most is the technology you're going to use to do the local targeting.

When you do have your website ready, I'm sure it will be worth reading. And who knows? If everything goes good, someday Google might contact you. Of course, I'm not the guy who'd be doing that though (I'm just a lowly accnt mgr).

ah :-)

well we have our website up which gives basic marketing gyan... www.amagi.com

the technology covers a number of patents which we have filed... can't talk about the technology.. the marketing guys decide how much to tell who, which is under NDAs and stuff...

i'm in the engineering/coding side of the company.. besides that I dabble around with the creative side a bit too... website, posters, business cards etc... which gives me the opportunity to give it a personal touch... like if you go to the "Jobs" section... then on the right you will find links to some of my poetry... hehehe :)
